Avery had a great birthday. Hard to believe my little guy is 9. On his birthday he had school of course but he opened his presents before school and he took chocolate chip cookies to share with his class. On Friday night we had a birthday party. Five friends and the six missionaries came over for pizza, cake and Roaming Reptiles. It was so cool to see all the animals and get to touch them and hold them and ask questions. Animal parties are cool. Some kids are not into it though and that's ok. You don't have to touch the animals. Avery also had an amazing snake cake that I paid my friend Laura to make. Fun times!

Avery wore spots to school for Children in need day.
It's a day every year the children raise money
for the children's hospital. The mascot is a bear that wears spots.
All the children pay a pound to dress mufti and wear spots. |
