Mary Arden's Farm
Mary Arden's farm was fun. We were there for about the last hour they were open. We kind of rushed about all day trying to see all of the Shakespeare sights in one day. The pass is good for a year but who knows if we will make it back. There are so many places to see. Kids always like animals and in England they always have fun falconry shows as well. They were celebrating May day with the may pole and dancing and bagpipe playing. If we had arrived earlier the girls were making flower crowns and the boys jack of the green masks. Tristan was given one that wasn't quite finished since he walked up as they were closing. The curly hair pigs were cute. Mary Arden is Shakespeare's mom. This is where she grew up or I guess his grandparents place. I didn't take a picture of the stone house. These are farm buildings. Avery enjoyed following all of the Tudor roses that marked all of the locations.
