| Tristan had his tibial osteotomy on June 13. He had a hard time waking up from anesthesia like I did when I had surgery but he didn't have too much pain. We were able to manage it with ice, tylenol, and motrin. |

| His leg is straight now and his foot doesn't turn in anymore. They turned his tibia 20 degrees so that it would match his other leg. He can leave the hardware in or have it removed later. |

| I spent the night with him at the hospital (so uncomfortable) and we went home the afternoon of the next day. |

| Tristan is doing better now but it has been a long road. He was in a cast for 5 weeks and then a walking boot for another 6 weeks. He wore it the first few days of school but isn't anymore. He has been to physical therapy a few times but isn't good about doing his exercises at home. We need to make him. He still limps when he walks. He needs to build up his muscles. We go back to Shriner's in Nov to see how it's healing. It takes like 6 months to fully heal. |

| Right before Tristan's surgery I got a call from Millie's microchip that she was in a shelter in Spanish Fork. They wouldn't tell me anything other than they picked her up in Payson and the owner will not be allowed to have her back. Her hair was very thin and balding and her nails were really long but she seemed happy. We went down and got her a few days after Tristan's surgery. Max wasn't too thrilled to begin with but they have grown on each other and now that she's being fed better, her hair has grown back and she has fattened up. lol She's much more hyper than Max even though she's 5 and he's 1. |
