Oxford Top Hat and things

Tristan came home from school the other day and fell asleep.

Cory and Aiden changed the oil in the car.

The story continues in graphic novel form.

playing at the temple

It was stake temple weekend. We drove down Friday night and I did a session while Cory and the kids checked into our room. Then the next morning Cory did a session and then we all watched Meet the Mormons in the visitor center and then the youth did baptisms and Cory helped and we played outside waiting for them.

Cory and I took my car for it's annual safety check. We decided to leave it there and walk home.
It was nice but a bit muddy.

This is what I bought this year on the pottery trip.

We bought two flicker scooters. They're the only thing Avery will ride so far.

Tristan went to the Ashmolean museum in Oxford with school and bought this with his pocket money.
You soak it for three days and then it begins to hatch.

There was a very ugly toy dinosaur inside.

We took the drones and scooters to church to play.

Cory made the kids get out in the cold and watch him change the brake pads on my car. Aiden was the
only one that stayed out there for long.

It snowed a tiny bit the other day.

Tolkien's grave

The headstone says Luthien, and elf maiden, and Beren, a mortal warrior, after one of his stories.

Cory says he wants a sword on his grave too.

at the show

intermission

It was really good!

we get some pretty sunsets here

We had excellent seats and the theatre wasn't huge so all seats were pretty good.

We loved the show. It was a nice day out in Oxford and I saw a falling star on the drive home.
