St Andrews

St Andrews is a nice small coast town and the home of golf so they say and it has a fine University there which happens to be where William and Kate met. It was a beautiful day there and while there were definitely other tourists there, there were not a lot. It was just right. If there are zero other tourists you feel like you don't belong but if there are too many it's not very enjoyable.

These were cute but I think too sugary. Tristan couldn't finish it. My pastry was delicious though.

I don't know if they do this in the states or not but here they have lots of different names on them.

We got noodle boxes for lunch. This nice courtyard at St Andrews Uni
seemed like a good place to sit and eat.

We played nine holes at the Himalayas which used to be the ladies putting green.
Now ladies can play the full course and anyone can pay to play the
putting green. It was fun.

That's the old course back there. The newer huge ones go along the coast.

This is how we entertain ourselves while waiting in line, play shadows.

We saw lots of rose hips in Scotland.

We found a playground on the way back to the hotel. Avery was so happy!
