Our second stop Thursday was Land's End. Many people have told me they found it to be boring but I liked it. There was nice scenery and sunshine and we had our picture taken by the famous sign and the kids played on the playground. Best of all, it's free. Well, we did pay for them to take our picture and mail it to us. There are other gimmicky things you could pay to do but we didn't. We ate cornish pastys for lunch. They were pretty good compared to others I have had. It's basically a hot pocket with meat and potatoes inside. It's shaped like a half circle with a twisted crust around the curved side. They came about as lunch for the tin miners here. They held on to the crust and threw it away after so they didn't poison themselves with the arsenic they came across in the mines.

Utah is actually the same direction as NYC but they put everyone's name on that part.

Everywhere on the coast is very windy so just ignore my hair.

We passed by Sennen Cove but didn't stop because there were no empty parking spaces and we had other places to go.
