St Michael's Mount

Our third and last stop before heading back Thursday was St Michael's Mount. It was neat to walk out to an island at low tide that you have to take a boat to at other times. We didn't bother going inside the house or castle, whatever you call it, because we are just more interested in outdoor things. We hung out on the island a bit, got Cory and the kids ice cream cones with a flake (that's a cadbury chocolate stick Avery now thinks all ice cream must have) and then headed back to the car for our nearly two hour drive back to our cottage. Everywhere else we went was closer but this day was spent down at the tip of Cornwall and the roads are small and slow down there. We were tired that night.
